Set up Ordnary Netway

Ordnary Netway sits between your visitors and your own server. Visitors keep using your hostname; traffic reaches your server through Netway.

Before you start

• A hostname you control, such as app.example.com.
• Access to the DNS settings of that domain.
• A server that serves HTTPS on port 443.

Setup

1. 1

   Verify domain ownership

   Add the hostname in the console and create the TXT record it shows, so we know the domain is yours.

   Validate the TLS certificate

   Netway issues a certificate for your hostname. Validation completes automatically once the DNS record is in place.

   Route traffic to Netway

   Point the hostname at Netway with the CNAME record from the console. From then on, traffic is protected.
